These terms apply to your use of thompsonautoroseville.com and to repair services from Thompson Auto Roseville ("Thompson Auto," "we"), a mobile auto repair business run by Jake Thompson. By using the website, contacting us or booking service, you agree to these terms.
Service area and hours
We travel to your home or workplace in Roseville and nearby areas, including Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, Granite Bay, Citrus Heights, Antelope, Orangevale and North Highlands. Normal hours are 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week. We are closed on major holidays and available for emergencies by phone. Online self-booking is available 10 AM to 4 PM. Appointments are preferred, and replies may take a while when Jake is working under a vehicle.
Quotes and pricing
- A flat $50 mobile fee applies within about 10 miles of Roseville, once per visit. Diagnostics are priced separately from repairs.
- We give you the total price before we start work. Online and text quotes are estimates based on what you tell us, and the final price may change if the vehicle needs something different once it is inspected. We will tell you and get your approval before doing work that changes the quote.
- Parts are priced separately unless the quote says otherwise.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about the vehicle and its problem.
- Make sure the vehicle is parked on a safe, level, accessible spot, and that you or an authorized person has permission for us to work there.
- Tell us if the vehicle has safety concerns we should know about, such as brakes that are not working.
Warranty
Our labor is warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty covers our workmanship on the repair performed. It does not cover normal wear, damage from accidents, misuse or neglect, unrelated parts or later repairs by someone else. Parts may carry the manufacturer's own warranty. Contact us if you think a repair needs to be rechecked.
Text and message communication
By giving us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your quote, appointment or repair. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts. We may use AI tools to help draft or sort replies, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information by text or message.
Code Lookup and website information
The Code Lookup page and other website content are general information only. They are not a diagnosis of your vehicle and not a substitute for an inspection. Recall and complaint information comes from NHTSA and may be incomplete or out of date. A check engine light or warning light should be inspected, and if you are unsure a vehicle is safe to drive, do not drive it.
Reviews and feedback
If you send feedback, you let us use it to improve the website and business. We do not publish your name or feedback without your permission.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent California law allows, Thompson Auto's liability for any claim related to our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost time or rental costs, or for problems caused by information you gave us that turned out to be wrong. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under California consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Website use
Please do not misuse the website, send spam through its forms or attempt to disrupt it. The website is provided as is, and we may change or remove content at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Please contact us first if there is a problem so we can try to make it right.
